Casa de los Baíllo (Campo de Criptana)
Description
It is a 17th-century palace originally granted to the Baíllo family by King Carlos II as a direct reward for their outstanding services to the Spanish Crown. The estate features a classic Manchegan wooden balcony and a prominent heraldic shield of the Baíllo family proudly displayed on its facade. After remaining in private hands for centuries, the property was eventually ceded to the local municipality and is being transformed into a dedicated municipal museum and historical archive.
