Keeping the Darkness Away (Eisenach)

A lamp illuminating a watchtower on a foggy, snowy winter evening at the Wartburg Castle. I remember being a bit lost, not sure how to exit the castle at the end of the day and seeing this lamp stopped me from panicking. As this quote attributed to St Francis of Assisi says: "All the darkness in the world cannot extinguish the light of a single candle." I took this picture to remind myself of this moment. p.s.: Wartburg Castle is also where Martin Luther hid and translated the Bible.
