Copper Sands (Jaisalmer)

With the approaching sunset, the golden sand slowly loses color...turning copper first before the chill of the nightfall takes away all the gleam from the blazing sand and the desert turns in to a different world all together. Rumi notes, "Why should the setting of the sun and moon bring you sorrow? To you, it may seem like a setting, But in truth, it is a rising, a new dawn."
