St Cuthbert's Co-operative Association Building (Edinburgh)

Description

It was built in 1892 as a major department store for the St Cuthbert's Co-operative Society. . Located on Bread Street near Tollcross, it is recognized for its V-shaped facade and large copper dome - its architectural style echoing Ney York's Flatiron building. The building underwent a £4.2m refurbishment to transform it into the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel now.
