Calle Alcalá stands as one of Madrid's most authentic streets, This historic thoroughfare, whose construction commenced in the 15th century, has some of the most striking architecture. This building, on Calle Alcalá 96, was originally designed in 1883 by Emilio Rodríguez Ayuso, completed in 1884 as a residential building. The building is notable for being the residence where the poet Federico García Lorca lived and worked between 1933 and 1936.
