St Fin Barre's Cathedral (Cork)

It is located on the exact site where Saint Finbarr is said to have founded his monastery and school in the 7th century, marking the origin of Cork. It features a "Goldie Angel" on a spire to its east side, a gilded copper statue that locals believe will bring about the end of the world if it ever falls.
