Entering the Underground (London)

Description

A double-deck whizzes past the entrance to a Tube station. The London Underground, opened on January 10, 1863, is the world's oldest subterranean railway, initially using steam trains between Paddington and Farringdon. It is also known as "the Tube" for its deep-level circular tunnels.
