Schloss Neuschwantein (Schwangau)

Description

On a winter evening with the top of the castle lit up by the setting sun. Inspired by operas of Richard Wagner, this fairy taie-like castle remains unfinished with only about a dozen rooms complete out of over 200 planned, and its grand Throne Room lacks a throne because King Ludwig II died before it was built. The reclusive king only spent 11 nights there before his death, after which it opened to the public to pay off debts
