The Colegiata de Santa Juliana in Santillana del Mar (Cantabria) is a stunning 12th-century Romanesque masterpiece. Originally built to house the relics of the martyred Saint Juliana, this church is the literal birthplace of the famous medieval village ("Santillana" is an evolution of "Santa Juliana").
