Faro de Luarca (Luarca)

Built in 1862, the Luarca Lighthouse sits 65 meters above sea level overlooking the Cantabrian sea. Built directly over the ruins of an old medieval castle, it operated using an olive oil lamp till it was electrified in 1917.
