Description

It is the city's most emblematic example of Art Nouveau architecture, built between 1902 and 1904. It was commissioned by Javier González Longoria, a wealthy banker and politician, to serve as both his residence and bank headquarters. It was designed by Catalan architect José Grases Riera It is characterized by a "wet sand" appearance, boasting a flowing, organic façade with absolutely no straight lines. This style makes it a rarity among the traditional architectural styles found throughout Madrid.
